Solution 1: Update QuickBooks

· You need to first run QuickBooks as an admin.

· After that hit a click on “Help” menu.

· Here, click on Update QuickBooks Desktop.

Solution 2: Delete the ECML files

· Under this process, you need to press the “Windows + R” keys to open the Run box

· Later on, proceed to “C:\Program Data\Intuit\Entitlement Client\v8

· Here, you need to delete the “EntitlementDataStore.ecml” file

· This action will create a new Entitlement file in the QuickBooks folder and the registration process of QuickBooks needs to be done once again.

Solution 3: Rename the .TLG file in QuickBooks folder

· You need to first proceed to the QuickBooks folder and then search for the .tlg file having the Company file name.

· After that you need to right-click the .tlg file and click on Rename option.

· Moving ahead, change the name of the file. Do the same with the ND files.

· After renaming the TLG and ND files, you need to run QuickBooks again. This should rectify the running issue in your QuickBooks desktop.

Solution 4: Run QuickBooks Verify and Rebuild Data Utility

· After that head to “File” menu -> Select “Utilities” -> Choose “Verify Data”.
