Method 2: Changing the location of the company files
• Now, search for the company file that is provoking this error. Once located, copy the file by clicking on the file and pressing Ctrl + C keys together.
• The next step is creation of a new folder on the Desktop and pasting the file in this folder by pressing Ctrl + V keys together.
• Once done, launch QuickBooks Desktop and open the company file from this new location.
